Agriculture is the main occupation of India. India is the largest producer in the world of milk, cashew nuts, coconuts, tea, ginger, turmeric and black pepper. Agricultural fertilizers provide crops with the nutrients they need to grow. Even Animal manure is often applied to cropland as a form of fertilizer because it contains nutrients that help crops grow. Pesticides are very essential for the growth of crops in agriculture. Chemical pesticides and herbicides help to protect crops from insects, weeds and fungus. Just like fertilizers and manure, when pesticides are applied in excess, they can make their way into local rivers and streams and potentially impact aquatic life. Toxic and harmful chemicals may destroy and spoil the soil and make that place unfit for agriculture. So I would recommend using homemade pesticides. Homemade pesticides can be done with the help of neem leaves, eggshells and salt, Canola and vegetable oils, Dishwashing soaps, Tomatoes. Especially garlic spray can be used to control aphids, mosquitoes, and onion flies. Thus it acts as a organic gardening pest control, natural pesticide and insect repellant. So throw away packed pesticides and fertilizers and use homemade ones.
